Mark Edward Fischbach, aka Markiplier, is an actor and massively popular Youtuber with over 33.6 million subscribers. While born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Mark’s family relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio shortly after his birth and raised him there. He started his first Markiplier Youtube channel in May 2012 and used the platform primarily for short sketches as well as commentated indi horror game Let’s Plays. In his time as a successful Youtuber, Mark has worked with some of the biggest names on the platform, such as Pewdiepie, Jackscepticeye, and Game Grumps. In addition to playing indie and AAA game titles on the platform, Markiplier has also worked on numerous Youtube Original series and shorts. Markiplier relocated from Cincinnati to Los Angeles, California in 2014. Though there’s not much on his past real estate available publicly, he did just purchase a gorgeous mansion from actor and singer, Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino), for $4 million – $15k over asking!

Located in La Canada Flintridge, CA – this stunning 3,279 square foot home was purchased by Markiplier from musical artist, Donald Glover, in 2021 for $4 million, $15,000 over asking! But once you take a peek inside, it’s not hard to see why he’d be willing to dish out more for this stunning estate.

The home, built in 1953, has underwent some careful renovations over the years to make it the gorgeous mid-century modern home it is today, though some features were kept from the original design – like those black terrazzo floors in the kitchen!

Speaking of the kitchen – in addition to beautiful floors, it also boasts top-notch stainless steel appliances, such as a double oven, as well as sleek, black countertops, a breakfast bar, and plenty of shelves and cabinetry for storage.

For occasions where more dining space is needed, however, the residence also boasts a large dining room with a fantastic mountain view nearby – dinner AND a show!

Not far from the dining room, you’ll find a spacious living room that also shares an equally gorgeous view of the nearby San Gabriel Mountains. In addition to the visual eye-candy, the space also offers plenty of built-ins and a fireplace.

Out of the 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms this luxury abode features, the master suite and ensuite reign supreme. The suite offers plenty of space for a bed and sitting area, while the nearby sliding glass door opens onto a private patio that connects to the ensuite.

Okay, so the ensuite bathroom is super cool…if you’re not concerned with nosey neighbors or other prying eyes. In addition to the skylight, the bathroom’s shower also opens onto the private patio, allowing for indoor/outdoor showering (is that a thing? It is now!)

The space also features double sinks as well as a soaking tub, large glass shower, and beautiful black honeycomb tiles.

Considering that his viewer-count per video goes into the millions, you can guess he’s raking in quite a nice profit from the Youtube platform. This doesn’t even include any sponsorships or pay he receives for his contributions to Youtube series.

Markiplier Family

Markiplier’s parents are Cliffton M. Fischbach and Sunok Frank. Clifton was a German American that served in the United States Army, while Sunok worked as a nurse in Korea. The couple met while Cliffton was stationed in Korea.

After their son was born, Cliffton and Sunok relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to Mark, the couple also shared an older son, Jason Thomas Fischbach, who is the author and artist of Webcomic series Twokinds.

Markiplier father, Cliffton, passed away from lung cancer in 2008. Sunok, Mark’s mom, remains an active figure in Mark’s life and can often be seen showing support for her son in his home videos.

Markiplier Girlfriend

Markiplier is dating animator and graphic designer, Amy Nelson (Aka Peebles). It’s rumored the couple started dating back in late 2015 following their appearance together at a VidCon event in 2016.

Originally from Cincinnati herself, Amy made her first official cameo in Markiplier’s “Don’t Laugh Challenge #5.” Since then, she has continued to participate in different projects on Mark’s channel – often taking a behind-the-scenes role.

Markiplier Friends

If you watch Markiplier, you’ve seen his BBF’s Bob and Wade a few times by now. Robert Martin “Bob” Muyskens (known as Muyskerm online) is a content creator himself, though has done less recording in recent years after deciding to pursue a law degree. Bob met Mark when they roomed together as freshmen in school and the two often played games together.

As for George Wade Barnes (Aka Youtuber LordMinion777), he and Mark attended high school together. Following the loss of Mark’s first channel due to advertising issues, it was a long chat with Wade that convinced him to keep pursuing his Youtube dreams.

All three men continue to be close friends, with both Bob and Wade continuing to make appearances on Mark’s channel even now. The trio even launched a podcast in 2022 titled Distractible in which they discuss funny stories and news.

On Oct 16, 2022 – Markiplier published a video on his channel titled “I Will Start an OnlyFans…” in which he stated that he would launch his own OnlyFans account if his viewers boosted his Distractible and Go! My Favorite Sports Team to #1 on Apple Podcast charts and Spotify – and the fans got to work!

Within 48 hours of his challenge, Distractible had reached the top slot on Spotify and climbed the charts on Apple Podcast.

Only days following his initial video, Mark added an additional condition to be met if fans wanted the NSFW content – to watch his documentary titled Markiplier from North Korea. The story, written by his mother, explores Mark’s Korean family and captures his trip east to visit and learn more about his roots.

Once again, fans were quick to meet Mark’s conditions, and the Youtuber DID actually launch an OnlyFans page. To make the whole thing even better, all money earned from the OnlyFans content is being donated to charity – so we can all be perves AND feel good about it!

While this is exciting news for Markiplier fans, those expecting…advanced content from Mark’s OnlyFans may be disappointed. The guy is a Youtuber watched by kids, ya’ll, so while he will be baring some for the page, he’s stated several times that it will be “tasteful” content – much like his calendar.
