Jack White House Nashville
Some years back, Jack White moved to Nashville and purchased this massive colonial style home in Music City! This is also where his record label, vinyl pressing business, and Third Man Upholstery business is located.
Built in 1910, the spacious abode boasts 11,000 square feet of living space and sits on a 6.89 acre lot. While there aren’t any interior photos available for our viewing pleasure sadly, it’s not hard to see from the exterior that this 14 bedroom and 21 bathroom home is something special!
Records indicate that the Jack White Nashville home was last sold in 2005 for $3.1 million. Currently, it’s estimated to be worth over twice that at $6.2 million.
Jack White House Kalamazoo
Tucked away in 2.5 acres of Kalamazoo, Michigan’s lush greenery is a 3,500 square foot estate owned by Jack White. He purchased the mid-century estate, aka the Kirkpatrick House, for above asking price at $510,000 (and sight-unseen!) sometime in 2016.
The home was designed by modernist architect, George Nelson, in 1958. Though it’s underwent a bit of work since then, these cozy vintage digs haven’t really changed all that much since it was built.
Okay, so the 70’s style interior may not be for everyone (really hard to love those color combinations). That being said, however, this is perfect for someone with a love for unique and antique designs like Jack White.
Additionally, you may be able to appreciate the look a bit more knowing that most of the home’s furniture is original vintage Herman Miller furnishings!
While White doesn’t live here full-time, he often uses this luxurious home as his writing retreat (imagine having your own writing retreat?! Seriously!)
Lookin’ for a place to get cookin? This galley kitchen has more than enough counterspace and upscale, stainless steel appliances to get the job done!
Nearby, a spacious, simplistic dining space allows residents and guests alike to enjoy a quiet meal while looking out onto the gorgeous land just outside the nearby windows.
All-in-all, this gorgeous 4-bedroom retreat has a truly relaxed, calm vibe that makes it the perfect getaway for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and seek inspiration.
Jack White House Detroit MI (Former)
Located in the historic Indian Village neighborhood of Detroit, MI, this 5,600 square foot, 4-bedroom and 4+ bathroom residence was owned by Jack White from 2001 to 2021.
This is Jack White house we’re talking about here, so you know it has to be A: an older structure, and B: filled to brim with strange, beautiful vintage décor. Considering the interior design and the fact that it was built in 1914, we can safely say he checked both boxes in his Detroit digs.
Oh, and you see those stairs in the grand foyer? That’s where the White Stripes recorded their video for “Get Behind Me Satan.”
In the living room, you’ll find wood flooring, beautiful white tray ceilings, and a brick fireplace that completes the cozy, elegant space!
With the exception of a doorway between the kitchen and living room, the floorplan to this place is exactly how it was back in 1914.
And looking like something straight outta your nanna’s house – we have this adorable sunroom! Okay, jokes aside, this is a great spot to soak up some sun with a good book or enjoy your morning cup of coffee in peace!
Much like his cocina at casa Kalamazoo, Jack’s kitchen in his Detroit digs sport a galley style layout and feature lots of counter space as well as beautiful glass-fronted cabinetry.
The soft blue paint and white molding found in the living room seamlessly carries into the home’s formal dining space, where you’ll also find French doors that lead out into the backyard!
Upstairs, the master suite offers plenty of space for a large bed and several sitting areas. In addition to a spacious bedroom, the master also features an ensuite bath as well as a large walk-in closet that was added by Jack himself.
In stark contrast from the rest of the traditional home, the fully finished basement is exactly what you’d expect Jack White’s home to look like. Using his signature red white and black, Jack decked out his laundry to look like something out of a White Stripes music video!
White listed the home for $1.2 million in 2018, but it would take several re-listing attempts to finally nab a new owner in 2021 for a reduced price of $815,000.

In his senior year of high school, Jack would meet his future wife and band mate, Meg White, in a Memphis restaurant where she worked. The two would go on to marry in 1996 and Jack would take her last name. White would continue working as an upholsterer in between playing local gigs, and eventually would team up with his wife to form the massively successful White Stripes band we know today.
