After doing some digging, Velvet Ropes placed the location of these photos at a 2-story apartment complex only 9 minutes from Highmark Stadium.

The modest apartment-sized kitchen sits just beside the living room. Here, we see stainless steel appliances and a peninsula counter with room for bar seating.

Why did Damar Hamlin collapse on Jan 2, 2023? According to a statement released by the Buffalo Bills, Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest on the field. Cardiac arrest describes an instance where the heart ceases to beat as normal. This generally leads to difficulty breathing as well as loss of consciousness.
Experts have suggested that Damar’s cardiac arrest could have been due to a rare condition known as Commotio Cordis. This phenomena occurs when something hard directly strikes the chest during a small window of time where the heart is vulnerable – less than a fifth of a second.
During this brief time, if the chest is struck in just the right way, it can disrupt the heart’s normal rhythm and blood flow. It is most commonly witnessed in athletes and can be fatal if immediate emergency care is not received.
