Prince commissioned Paisley Park in the 80’s following Purple Rain. It was his home, performance space, and where he recorded thousands of hours of music.

Located in his home state of Minnesota, Paisley Park is a fixture in the quiet city of Chanhassen. Prince recorded here, lived here, hosted parties here, and ultimately died here -  it was his wonderland. 

The facility is a work of art that Prince poured his soul into so one day his fans could experience his gift. His sister Tyka made sure that happened, and it late 2016 Paisley Park opened to the public. There are a variety of tours available, including a VIP experience thats grants access into one of the two recording studios in the facility. 

Prince often held concerts for the first 100 people who showed up at Paisley Park, and he would reportedly play for hours in the sound stage, and even invite certain people into his NPG Music Club, which is inside the compound. The operator of his estate have kept with his tradition, announcing they will hold concerts at Paisley Park periodically, featuring Prince's favorite artists.
