The apartment at 211 Elizabeth Street is in the first New York ground-up building by Roman and Williams, the design duo behind Chelsea’s The Fitzroy and Gwyneth Paltrow’s erstwhile Tribeca loft (among many other lovely projects.) The apartment certainly looks Roman and Williams-esque, with its a-traditional dark painted trim and herringbone wood floors.

The roughly 2,000-square-foot spread features a 28-foot east-facing living room anchored by a custom flamed granite wood-burning fireplace. The room separates the condo’s two bedrooms including a master with an en suite bathroom clad in Calacatta Gold marble slabs. The second bedroom, which the couple used as a media room, also has a private bathroom that was recently renovated

The kitchen features Danish walnut cabinetry that’s both natural and painted black, as well as Viking and Sub-Zero appliances and Watermark hardware. A dining nook in the kitchen lets out onto the 1,120-square-foot landscaped, irrigated, and private terrace with two ivy-clad pergolas, a gas fireplace, and herringbone red brick pavers. The outdoor space can also be accessed from the entry hall and from near the living room.
